Understanding AccountAim Ingest is simple. Drop in a carrier statement, in whatever format it arrives, and get back clean data that’s ready to reconcile.
But there is a lot going on behind the scenes. And now it’s getting even better.
We all know that carrier statements don’t stay the same. A carrier will redesign a layout, move a column, or rename a field without telling anyone. They might even send over a scanned invoice with handwritten notes all over it.
Previously, Ingest would automatically flag the change and our team would quickly update our library of mapped formats.
Now, Ingest takes care of this on its own thanks to AI.
When a statement’s structure shifts, AccountAim’s AI recognizes the new layout and re-instructs the OCR and parsing engine to read it correctly in real-time. As always, the parsed totals are validated against the totals in the source PDF to ensure accuracy, so you know the extraction is verified.
